Every classroom tool that asks learners to “create an account” adds friction before the lesson even starts — and quietly hands you a pile of personal data to look after. There’s a better default: tools learners join with a QR code and nothing else. Here’s why it’s worth insisting on.

Less friction, more learning time

Account creation is where momentum goes to die. Emails mistyped, passwords forgotten, verification links stuck in spam — multiply that by thirty learners and you’ve lost the first ten minutes. Data you never hold, you never have to protect

When accounts still make sense

The trainer usually should have an account — you need somewhere to build content, save it, and see results over time. The point isn’t “no accounts ever”; it’s that the learner shouldn’t need one just to take part in a live activity.
